Emotional Support Elephant Dating a Whale - there will be issues

ThermionicEmissions sadly notes the passing of the Queen and sends best wishes to her family and friends. And country. And our one British reader, who will stop reading if I make any Queen jokes.

Therefore I will not say a word about reptilians or her contempt for her country, putting Charles in Charge. Fans of Are You Being Served will not hear any "Jug Ears" references. Lastly, I will under no circumstances mention that Meghan is next in line after Charles.

Your love is like  new Mega Chewing Gum, now with nails!

Putin will not attend Gorbachev's funeral

"I've got a war to run here, man! Plus I can't attend the funeral of everyone I poison. Oh, is this live?"

Today I identify as  Julie Andrews

Royal Caribbean will equip all its ships with Starlink Internet

Royal Caribbean would do better to keep its ships upright and free of viruses

We've established (at least as of last post) that California was established to entertain the other states. In the planet of California, there are several amusing areas, each with its own charm (or aggravation, depending on your perspective). The area that never fails is The People's Republic of Berkeley. Today's entry is

Outrage as Berkeley is now demanding students wear masks if they are not vaccinated against FLU

You simply cannot pay for this kind of entertainment. If Berkeley put out some kind of newspaper with all their goings on, the majority of subscribers would be out of state. This would surprise Berkeley, but they'd quickly turn it around to outrage and hold a protest against this sort of thing.

While we're on California:

California weighs rules giving fast food workers more power

...from alleged abuse by fast food employers.
Asked for comment, the University of Berkeley said these brave people should be allowed to run for governor, especially the illegal aliens. Volunteer brigades are being formed to hand out drivers licenses and houses.

Kerala: Why are Indian men screaming with period pain?

But a campaign in the southern state of Kerala is aiming to change that. The initiative's organisers are taking menstruation simulators to malls and colleges in Ernakulam district to let men experience period cramps, in a bid to normalise conversation around the subject.

You're going to say to yourself that students from the University of Berkeley have embarked upon a pilgrimage to India, but you're actually incorrect. Then you'll say that the men in India have been exposed to the SJW virus, and you'll be correct.

Young Thug: How rap lyrics put a rapper behind bars

They used his own lyrics against him.

The Restoring Artistic Protections or Rap Act was introduced last month by Congressman Hank Johnson, a black Democrat from Georgia, who argues that the use of rap lyrics as criminal evidence is racist.

Yes, you knew it was coming. The R-word. When all else fails. Or when all else starts. The word guaranteed to shut down any dissent, without discussion. Would using Eminem's lyrics be racist too? If you disagree, that's racist.

That said, speech should not be used to prosecute, except in the case of some genius bragging about his misdeeds after the fact. This is why we have Faceyspaces. And geniuses.

This is a perfect example of support for free speech, even if you don't like it.

More Americans smoke marijuana than cigarettes, poll finds

Dave's not here, man.....

This is also true during high school.

The University of Berkeley came out strongly [inhale] in favor of doobies, stating categorically that it makes coming up with things to protest much easier. The ideas are sometimes not so great the next day, so they remain constantly stoned, so everything's great.

‘Pearl’ Necklaces: The People Getting Jewelry Made From Semen

Not since vagina-scented candles has the world seen such bold design sense.

"Collecting the sample was the trickiest part,"   ....really?

The University of Berkeley immediately mounted a protest. When asked what the protest was about, a spokesperson said, "We're not sure yet, but you can rest assured we're against it. Something."

Hollywood suffered a grave defeat when Serena and Venus Williams played in the US Open. It became the hip thing to sit in the stands, like a fan, among the people, so the stars lined up. Everything went south when the airport they were using for their private planes shut down for maintenance. The stars had no other way to get to New York, so disappointment ruled the day. Oh yeah, the sisters were knocked out in the first round.

The University of Berkeley protested because the sisters losing in the first round was racist. Also the games were held in Flushing. They said repeated flushing depleted needed resources. They prefer to flush at most once per week, and demanded the same from the rest of the nation. Representatives were in Washington, DC to demand the president sign the Full of Shit act.

WARNING

If you have older iDevices, you want to update them now. Apple just put out a necessary safety update. The irony of me pushing Apple updates is thick, no?

US chip makers hit by new China export rule

Shares of major chipmakers Nvidia and AMD have fallen amid concerns of new US restrictions on the sale of artificial intelligence chips to China.

Speaking of irony, the chip makers forgot to complain when Biden gave them $52 billion recently. I'm relatively certain their stock prices did not fall then.

President Biden just got done meeting with the wind farm lobby. The president will give them $50 billion because there's just not enough wind lately, as a casualty of Global Warming.

In related news, due to most business moving online, the business card industry is experiencing pain. In his Philadelphia address, President Biden pledged to have his best people look into the matter. He said that business card printing is a uniquely American business and if it needs a shot in the arm, he is not opposed to giving a few tens of billions. "After all," he said, "we're helping every other industry; why not toilet makers?" An aide whispered in his ear that he was talking about business cards. Biden said this was another effect of Trumpism and asked when his next nap was.

Speaking of Biden's Philadelphia speech, he attacked MAGAs. Some of these are the people who threatened the FBI. So let's attack them. What's the worst that could happen? He really is dumber than he looks.

If you think about it, these people are not a threat to democracy, as Biden claimed. The ones taking action non-violently are what this country is about. If the past few presidents haven't spurred you to action, isn't it about time?  The threat to democracy is Congress and the presidents. They want you passive and voting R or D. Accepting the restrictions on freedom and the debt.

Best Phrase of the Week

I just locked myself inside.

  • God, I love Labor Day. It's the day we celebrate by not working.

I remember this, in the distant past, as a horrifying day, signifying the imminent start of a new school year. Now it signifies a 3 day weekend and just a few weeks more of 90 degree temperatures. This is because the groundhog stuck its head out and died after being heated to 350 for 20 minutes. It's good eatin' if you get it in time.

After 8 hours of toiling over a hot computer, we decided to go out for dinner. You might know the place: it's a large chain, known for their Real Imitation Italian-like food substance. They were very handicapped-friendly. They took away most of the parking spots to put in food pickup spots. The only way in is a ramp that spans half the restaurant. So if you're in a wheelchair, you're ok. If you're pushing the wheelchair, you'll need a defibrillator, which is conveniently located on the wall, right inside the front door.

There was a stand, with about twelve employees standing at it. I don't know what they were up to, but they all got really quiet and looked guilty. The closest one bade us good evening and were there two? Being in security, I played my hand pretty close to the vest... I wasn't about to give out this kind of information freely. I looked around, noticing that no one slipped up behind us, so there were only two of us at the stand. Realizing there was no way out, I said yes. I asked for the no screaming child section, but it was late and that section was closed.

I think they were playing rock paper scissors to figure out who'd be our server. The one with the blue hair won. I'm kidding - they all had blue hair, including the women. Bobbi took us to our table, we sat down, then he asked us if we would mind moving to that table. We thought about it for a while, then decided to take it. We don't know what that was all about, but at least we got a window seat. We could watch the traffic back up when a train crossed. If we got really lucky, some old person in a truck would park it on the tracks, as tends to happen a lot lately. We'd have front row seats for the crash. And get to watch the old person screaming, "Why? WHY?"

I had my girly drink, a frozen strawberry margarita. Wife tasted it and said I was going to get plowed. I made her the same offer, but it was too early to tell. In spite of her observation, she was fine with me driving home, so I mustn't have been plowed enough. Mrs. lefty has a sure fire method for seeing if I'm drunk. It has to do with the sarcasm, screaming, and cursing. If it stops, I'm drunk. Or dead

Wife got Somethingorother Alfredo. Most of the dishes are alfredo. Dieticians refer to is as "Heart attack on a plate."  As if that weren't enough, the waitress appears with some sort of cheese torture device and asks if Wife would like some MORE cheese on top of her cheese. I'll never be a good Italian because I don't like much cheese. I asked Wife to taste my food and see what the overbearing taste was... I suspected an herb. She chewed, looked thoughtful, and said it was the ricotta. Ah yes, ricotta always has that herb taste. I should have suspected it right off. I asked if it was because she didn't listen or didn't understand. She said, "Huh?"

We were told we could pay with some little magic box on the table. Just want I wanted. Then I had to figure out which was going to get hacked first - the box or the restaurant chain. This all came to a screeching halt when we asked to pay the waitress. With cash. All of the sudden, red lights and sirens went off. The sheriff showed up, along with the local police, who seem to have a permanent sub-station at the bar.  With guns drawn, they explained to us that nobody pays in cash and what were we up to? They got the manager, who had to pull out the store Standard Operating Procedures manual to figure out how to accept cash. I looked at the box, but it had no slots for cash. We tipped well, so the waitress took the cash and put her personal card in the box. This is one of the reasons we don't go out much.

The Osbournes are coming back to tv. I envision a show called The leftys. It won't be focused so much on dog poop, mumbling, or extra-pyramidal symptoms of medicines so much as the shit that happens to us all the time. Viewers can listen to the dog bark at most things, me asking Wife where things are, and wife asking what happened to Thursday - she's positive she hasn't seen it this week. We can't tell the internal children we're on tv because the viewers would be treated to an adult body with the voice of a vivacious, bright five year old, telling everyone she's  beautiful and smart and deserves to be the star of the show. Life with the leftys, coming soon to the NO Network.

It Started with the Diabetics

The StarNet takeover. as foretold in The Terminator, has caused fear in many, laughter in others. The machines will take over, it's just a matter of time. Because they're smarter than we are, by far. But you don't know the full breadth and depth of the long term plan. You just see the computers and AI. There are other things at work....

If you're diabetic. you may have noticed you can get those monitors that stick on your side. It's a little plastic thing, which does the measuring for you and sends it to your phone (and the manufacturer. If things really get out of control, your mother). There is now another plastic gadget that will adjust your dosage. You stick it right on the other side of your stomach. This is all part of the insidious plot. All new medicine will come as a plastic thing you stick to yourself. Pretty soon, you're a plastic being, with all functions controlled by your plastic exoskeleton. You are now part of SkyNet.

Think about it: if you want to quit smoking, you can try a patch. If you don't want a shot for your birth control, use a patch. Allergies? There's a patch for that too. Explosive diarrhea? Diabetic Ketoacidosis? Gonorrhea? Gas? Watch, as all new medicine stops coming in pills and attaches directly to your skin.

Don't let this happen to you. I have a 100% record of disaster prediction (aka conspiracies); you can't afford to let me be right on this. Think about it.

FCC has approved $6 billion in broadband grants

In other words, the FCC has given a lot of money to cable and fiber companies to use for their business. I was never really good at math, but

    1. you will pay for the services of these businesses
    2. you will pay for the $6 billion
Businesses are supposed to fund themselves or get loans. Why has America started giving money to them? Will this help ease the deficit? What is the weight of an unladen swallow?

The University of Berkeley has gone Full Riot Mode<tm>, demanding free education, including free beer and educational marijuana.

Throwing the Horse Out with the Baby Water

Your love is like  a pool full of water to breathe

If a man changes genders, how does he think without his penis?

Today I identify as  Kamala Harris' illegitimate daughter-in-law

Mickey Dolenz, the last man standing of the Monkees, is suing the FBI over their secret file. If you haven't read up on the FBI, J. Edgar Hoover, the Big Boss, was a paranoid lunatic, who wanted files on everybody and everything. He even wanted UFO information. Hoover was also a self-hating homosexual, and collected all sorts of information on homosexuals. The Monkees were harmless, but a paranoid agent got info from a concert and ran with it.

Pole-dancing axe thrower wins world title

This is but one reason why Canada is pulling in front of the US for best places to live.

Trump's Truth social network app is no longer available on Google Play, the android store, because of content moderation. This means the network cannot be censored easily, and it does not fit the narrative Google (and the rest) are pushing. I have no stake in Trump or his network, but I believe in free speech. The GAB network's app cannot be found on Play or Apple. They don't censor their subscribers enough and allow 'hate speech.'

So the Instagram/OnlyFans killer saga continues. The current rage is her mug shot. For some reason, it doesn't look like any of her non-posed, non-dressed, non-Photoshopped online pictures. Online society is beside itself with laughter, because who doesn't want to see a popular person be held responsible for their heinous actions?

She has 2 million followers on Instagram. This completely baffles me, until I applied a bit of thought. There are 2 million people, hanging on her every photo and each thoughtful insight she posts via video. After seeing a video, she appears no less bright or interesting than a Kardashian. 2 million people. This is the Masked Furry, Americans Idle Effect. Bread and circuses. No content. Her alleged thoughts were peppered with 'fer shures'. Watch some of this and ask yourself why 2 million are obsessed with this.

We've all seen the video of her beating on the murder victim in the building elevator. It's funny because he holds her off like she's a gnat, while she punches him. I noticed I don't hear a single voice of protest around spousal abuse. If the situation were reversed, people would be out with pitchforks and torches. Yes, men get abused too.

Hopefully this will all come out in court. The legal system is just an old means of not accepting blame for your actions. I found out the truth last night, which is another ThermionicEmissions first. 2 million rabid followers were treated to pictures of the happy couple. After a while, she realized he just wasn't of her social stature online, and he was dragging her down. So she had to kill him. She had no choice. The Abuse Excuse was just to cover things up. People who know social media fully understand what she did and are behind her 100%. She didn't deny killing him - all that's left is the excuse to get her out of punishment. After all, she's pretty - she shouldn't have to suffer like the ugly people, who don't have 2 million followers. She has a social responsibility to be out there, sharing updates and her advanced outlook on important matters. The defense will bring up her mug shot - it will have a startling negative effect on her fanbase: she didn't have time to do her makeup, hair, or put on the right pushup bra for her outfit. It's like when a president jogs... he can't be seen in a jogging outfit; it shakes the confidence of the American people and makes foreign leaders laugh. You don't see Putin wearing a t-shirt, do you? Putin grasps his responsibility to his people and the world. For these reasons, Your Honor, we must find the defendant NOT GUILTY. Adjourned.

And last but not least - she's not that attractive. She's a product of every glam shot that came before her. I don't want to imagine what's available to her paid OnlyFans buyers. I love women, but she does nothing for me. This is seconded by Mrs. lefty.

I wonder what her attorneys will have her do in preparation for the trial...

  • join the Kardashians for official televised IQ tests
  • check her ability to take a selfie blindfolded. She'll get 100% because she can detect herself in any situation, producing 100 online examples of her magnificence for her followers to adore
  • eventually a sex tape will be 'leaked', if possible, with a celebrity. Even better, with Paris Hilton. Neither will get much sex, because they're too busy staring at themselves
  • join the Sunday news shows for her views on international and local issues
  • a new game show, where celebrities have to figure out regular old household duties, like plumbing, dish washing, and taking out the trash. Like filling up the windshield washer fluid in their expensive cars

For about a year, we've been told (warned) to hold onto a date for a wedding. Keeping in mind that a wedding is a funeral where you can smell your own flowers, I tend not to attend them (weddings or funerals). The official invitation surfaced last week, with a small warning: formal attire.

I have not appeared in formal attire in my life. The side of the family I know is laughing hysterically and taking bets on whether or not I show up. Apparently I was under the misunderstanding that formal meant a clean t-shirt. Or a Zappa t-shirt with a jacket over it. I have one where he's picking his nose, and another with him sitting on the toilet, pants down. So naturally, those betting on me not showing have the advantage.

I have questions..

Who is the genius who told women that this is their 'special day' and they're entitled to feel like princesses, including putting everyone else through hell in the process? Last year was the destination wedding, which meant everyone had to travel 5 states south to see it. If nobody lives there, why torture the guests? Because Bridezilla wanted it, which is enough of an excuse to cover anything, like

  • a country club. I barely drive by country clubs, not to mention attending or entering one. My people weren't allowed in country clubs til recently.
  • formal attire. Because everybody owns this. Just check your closet for which dress or tux you want to wear. It worked for James Bond - why not every guest of the wedding?
  • Because we want to share our special day. Because we want presents. Because we want to laugh at you in your expensive, ill-fitting garments. Because we want to have evidence of this, we take many pictures. We will blackmail you with the pictures if we feel the gift isn't significant enough.
  • The bride and groom spent a lot of time gardening and other things that require being dirty, so they want everybody to act and appear natural (in formal attire)
  • You have your choice of meat, vegetarian, or vegan, Vegan comes with 6 people from PETA, to harass diners eating meat.
  • There was nothing on the invitation mentioning it, but I'm thinking FOOD FIGHTs are not encouraged. Not lobbing anything that would put any unapproved color on the bride's dress. No bleach on the groom's tux.
  • The bride spends a solid year or more, planning this (making everyone as miserable as possible, so she feels better about it). The groom is told to rent a tux and show up on time.
  • at some point, the p.a. or DJ system will fail. Most of the wedding party will turn around and look at ME, expecting me to fix it. This happened, years ago.
  • There will be rehearsals, rehearsal dinners, non-rehearsal lunches, rehearsal lunches, parking drills, flower tests, picture run-throughs, bitching: you're not gonna wear that, are you? Next day brunches, post-brunch dinners, throwing the dart at the religious officiant practice, insulting the bride's religion contest (unofficial, of course), and most important: FLEEING at the earliest possible moment, so as not to appear to flee or upset the bride. Not showing is unacceptable, and will result in a car and plane sent to pick you up, in case your forgot. At your expense, of course.
  • It wasn't mentioned, but I'm thinking I shouldn't bring the dog. "Do you take this woman...." BARK BARK BARK.
  • If you are scheduled to make a speech of any type, you must submit it for approval, in writing, at least 90 days in advance. Spontaneous utterances must also be approved in advance. Anything I am likely to say to anyone must also be approved. The status of the approval will be communicated over Faceyspaces, to avoid me ever seeing it. Regardless, I will inadvertently say something stupid, offensive, hurtful, in bad taste, and generally insulting. My defense team is already on retainer, to explain that I'm just that way and did not mean it. The Parkland shooter was said to be disruptive in grade school. Guess what - I was disruptive too.
  • Perhaps they were inviting me just to be nice, with the silent expectation to tell them I have to purchase new trash cans that day. Sometimes I miss the obvious stuff. This is why I have a wife.

The Oklahoma Student Loan Authority Loan Breach Exposes 2.5M Records

Meh, Biden will just forgive all their debt and make everything right

Last entry, I mentioned the dog bringing presents. I forgot about the time Penny brought me a mouse and put it on my chair. Good thing I looked first. And good thing it had expired.

My life is filled with excitement, and I don't even have to leave the house.

Undeclared pools in France uncovered by AI technology

I wondered why this was news until I discovered that pools are taxed in France. This is a perfect example of an infrastructure and taxing in a country. If you can't afford the tax, your house will be sold (in the US).

The humiliating story of the TSA

There’s no evidence two decades of pat-downs and shoe removal have made travelers any safer — so why does the theater of airport security persist?

Because it has become infrastructure, as well as Security Theater, and government does NOT prune infrastructure of this size. Just for fun, the xray machines were found to be no good, so they were all replaced, at our expense. Imagine the amount of machines.....

We got this pig right after 9-11, like the PATRIOT Act, and they won't go away.

Also: you are allowed to be dead, but you are not legally dead until you have a death certificate. So don't expect to die before you get to the front of the line, unless you have the certificate.

Archeologists Discover Huge Stone Penis in Ancient Roman Ruins

It was 17" (1 litre Canadian) long. "This is an unprecedented find, and quite important," stated the group of 250 mostly female archaeologists. "We have a new appreciation for Roman men."

The Energy Crisis

The USPS Underestimated the Benefit of Going Electric, Study Shows

Of course they did. The USPS (management) is incapable of seeing blue sky and saying it's nice and it's daytime. No matter how many times they hit themselves with iron frying pans, they can never identify the assailant or the weapon used. And the cost of stamps will go up. Again.

A peer-reviewed study offers yet more evidence the USPS conducted one of the shoddiest environmental reviews of all time. Perhaps they'd do better asking their pets.

  • Closure of coal power station set to be delayed to prevent UK blackouts
  • Elon Musk Says World Needs More Oil and Gas as Bridge to Renewables
  • Germany orders Sept 1 shutdown of digital ad displays to save gas

So much for 'green' electrical cars saving the planet..... they gotta charge somehow...

The planet of California, which decreed no gas-powered cars would be sold by 2035, has asked residents not to charge their electric vehicles.

Few people know this, but California was established in 1850 to amuse the rest of the states. The Founding Fathers had a wicked sense of humor.

Thomas Paine: We still have a lot of space on the left side of the map.

George Washington: What do you suggest?

Ben Franklin: After all the toil, taxing, and blood to get us where we are, we need to acknowledge it with levity. Let us make this huge expanse at the left of the map a tribute to silliness, recreation, and shit no one can understand - even the residents. We will call it California, which is Souix for "Huh?" We can fill it with good looking women, so I don't have to keep sailing to England.

Truck spills 150,000 tomatoes causing California crash
This was a true crisis and steps were taken...
  • President Biden called this unconscionable and approved $54 billion for cleanup
  • Gavin Newsom announced he was running for president
  • supply chain failures were declared, causing a tripling of tomato prices within the continental United States
  • Gavin Newsom declared August "National Tomato Month" and prevailed upon everyone to do their patriotic duty by purchasing and consuming tomatoes. Even people who don't like tomatoes were urged to participate.
  • UC Berkeley referred to one part or the other of this as fascism and vowed to protest, burning their own produce stands to the ground and not permit tomatoes or any depiction of tomatoes to enter the school grounds. A man with a tomato t-shirt was lucky to escape with his life

There are two new Pinocchio films coming out of Hollywood. Obviously they will be followed by two films called Pinocchio II. One is fairly faithful to the original and one is stop motion. The original was started 23 years ago, but ran into some trouble during the making...

  • People screamed about the negative Italian stereotypes, resulting in a recasting of Geppetto using a black female lesbian Jewish actress.
  • The lead character's nose growing had the ADL calling it antisemitic.
  • The California school board was upset at the characterization of Pinocchio's behavior as lying. They demanded it be referred to as 'telling alternate truths.'
  • The bible belt referred to a puppet and his maker as 'obviously satanic, to corrupt the country's young,' and demanded it never be shown. "At very least, Pinocchio needs to be replaced with an ark."
  • As for making shoes, Americas shoemakers, all 4 of them, insisted on Geppetto's character making something that's only made in China, to be more patriotic. They said, "It will symbolize the return of manufacturing to the US."
  • President Biden released $47 billion to finance the movies, provided that the cast was diverse enough and they hired Kamala as Best Boy or Key Grip.

Two Air France pilots suspended after cockpit fistfight

Thank you for flying Air France. There is no need to panic, but can anybody fly the plane? The pilot hit the brakes, causing himself and the copilot to hit their heads on the instrument panel. They're just a bit black and blue - no need to worry.

Dangerous Levels of 'Do Not Care'

Your love is like  wood splinters

WARNINGS:

  • Wendy's has a lettuce emergency in several states, which got hit with the e.coli (poop) bacteria. I can't believe they had a problem, as there's so little actual lettuce on their burgers. This is what you get for eating green food - just order your burgers without lettuce. If you want a salad, you shouldn't be going to Wendy's anyway. Calorie Theater ain't workin' for you.

Those wacky Aussies

Nightclub bans STARING without getting ‘verbal consent’ – and hires ‘safety officers’ in pink vests to police revellers

More than that, what kind of person would go this club?

He didn't exactly stare at me, but it was definitely more than a look

Now people can go out and safely get shitfaced without fear of people staring at them.

Hey guys - there are no rules against roofies, so long as you don't stare at them while you drop the pills..

The club always believes the reporter, so make stuff up and get people kicked out!

Most importantly: go to another bar. This one will close in 3 days.

While we're on nightclubs...

In 1947, Florida shut down a popular drag club. The state has resurrected the case to do it again.

Yes, another group of 'people', shoving their 'morals', onto everybody else. The 1947 law stated that the club was a public nuisance. Was it receiving noise or drunk complaints? No. A hotshot, politically ambitious, juvenile probation officer argues that the performers were 'sexual perverts' and they were breaking down the character of the youngsters (it's for the children - always). So this person got the club shut down for what was going on inside, not outside.

They're at it again/still. Florida (of course) Governor Ron DeSantis, who is thought to be running in 2024, has decreed the same thing, citing the 1947 law. Their liquor license was threatened because it was 'injurious to the morals or manners of the people.' Last I checked, it's 2022. Things have changed, skeletons. Let's face it - the government needs to keep its incredibly large nose out of business and it can start with this one. What if it decided to close down convenience stores because they sold cigarettes and they're a health hazard?

Would I go to a drag club? No, but it's not about my taste, it's about the freedom to run your business free of interference. Or, heaven forbid, some Bible Belt wannabe presidential candidate.

Heaven save us from people getting us into heaven.

The more I hear about the Parkland shooter, Cruz, the more I wonder where everybody was, as he was growing up. He obviously has some sort of mental disorder, although what this has to do with shooting escapes me. Unfortunately it will escape the jury too, as none of them are psychologists. This kid said he wanted to go home and shoot up small animals when he was in 3rd grade. The school said he was attention-seeking. Even killers can attention seek. Nobody even thought to look into him when he was voted Most Likely to Shoot Up A Building, by his high school class. He made social media videos, where he stated plainly that he was going to be the next school shooter.  Another video mentioned the school, on the day he did it.  So it's not like there was no warning. It's not 'spying' on him to call the authorities because he's unstable (or LOOKS unstable).

Most importantly, there was a substitute judge the other day. I miss Judge Hottie.

New York State wants to limit the speed of vehicles over 3,000lbs (7 liters French), as well as widen the field of vision from the driver's seat. STOP IT, Nanny. I'll drive as fast as I want to. If I get caught, it's my problem.

Notice that they want to pass this but other drivers still can't see around or through the massive vehicles. Demand that anything taller than a Volkswagen be see-through.

  • The exact number of times you should be having sex each week to keep you healthy
  • Take the recommended number and double it.
  • But seriously, folks, any therapist will tell you, sex is very important for a relationship. It's communication and reinforcement of your commitment. Try it some time.

Everybody who has a dog has one of these stories.

Penny came in and brought me a present. No, not a left handed vintage guitar or even a really cold YooHoo. She brought me a dead rodent. This is a huge thing in Dogspeak. I wonder if I should have made a big deal about it. But if I did, would she bring me more 'treasures'? A friend received a bird wing. We also got a rabbit head once. I'd settle for a guitar pick. It's a good thing we don't have a horse.

Hold onto your socks, people, because this one will shock and baffle you: at the Ghana zoo, lions mauled a man to death. He climbed into the lion area, going over a 10' and a 20' (30ml Canadian) fence. I guess he wanted to play with the kitties. Who could have seen that coming? Certainly not the fellow himself. Either that or his wife was mad at him and he took the easy way out.

It requires something even bigger and more committed than Congress voting itself a raise to get me to take off work. But I went forth and got a day off, because we were going to visit Mom-in-Law to wish her happy birthday. Once I got past the fear of taking off (yes, another thing the doctors are working on), I realized this was a situation that had WIN written all over it.

  1. It's nice to see my MIL - she's wonderful and (generally) doesn't bite
  2. We provide a bit of a happier birthday
  3. Points with Wife - I appear unselfish (for once)
  4. there will be cake involved
Unfortunately there are no guitar stores on the way, but you can't have everything. I just hope I have some input into the cake.

As with any of our plans, they might will be subject to change. Nothing is ever as simple as it sounds. There are days off, somewhere to stay, will there be other dogs (or can Cujo come with us)? The flight plans got filed and we were ready to go. Heh heh. Wife got strangely sick and took most of the week off. Hotel got canceled. I told Wife I'd take her out locally instead. Wife said yes but has no memory of it, especially as she's telling me she's going to visit Mom just for the day (that I took off). I am rarely speechless, except at home, where I am often speechless. So as I understand it, we are getting up ridiculously early on a day I took off, spending hours on the road, singing happy birthday, spending hours on the road (in the opposite direction) and getting home. She will be full of energy, my eyes will be looking at each other, and the dog will be tired, but not too tired to go out back and bring me another (rodential?) present. Life is good life.

My in-laws are really nice - I don't have a bad word to say about them (and I have a bad word to say about everything). The first time I met them, Mom made me a Jewish apple cake. I had no idea cakes were Jewish. Wife had to gently explain that I'm not Jewish, and I'm allergic to apples. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was on purpose? Anyway, she was horribly embarrassed, so the second time I met them, she made a strawberry shortcake. I'm not crazy about strawberry shortcake, but at least my throat wouldn't close up from eating it.  I listened carefully to hear if anyone was disappointed that I wasn't allergic to it, but didn't hear anything. Wife finally explained that 89% of my diet is chocolate, so she couldn't go wrong with that. Or nothing - I'm fond of nothing. I often ask specifically for nothing. This is why I got pulled from the Christmas family pollyanna. First of all, I don't like the word pollyanna. It's just got nothing to say for itself. Polly anna. 'Many annas' in Norwegian. Anyway, because I'm apparently from a different planet, whoever got stuck with me had a hard time. I got a sports jersey once. Maybe the Flyers, I dunno. The salient point here is that I don't like sports. This is not exactly a secret, as when the family gets together, all the guys drink and watch sports. I'm with the ladies, searching for a Coke and a place to hide. So it was decided to pull my name from Many Annas on a permanent basis. There was only one other person to be pulled from Anna in the family history, and he was every bit as socially retarded as me. Actually I'm not socially retarded - I'm just far in the future. When I got my cell phones many years ago and played with them at social events, I caught a lot of crap. Now it's a rule that you have to play with your phone at social events. See - I was just ahead of my time. And socially retarded.

It's expensive using the Turnpike these days. The last bill was $76, and we barely use it. You'd think getting rid of all those toll takers saved money and allowed them to charge less. Just kidding. It doesn't matter which road we use, there's always a traffic jam. Some idiot stopped to look at the police pulling over a car in the other direction, causing a major delay in both directions. Then there's people from out of state, who insist on doing only the speed limit. These people should be forced to take their test again or surrender their license. We don't tolerate even 10mph over the limit here. If the police catch you going under 90, they pull you over and beat you with one of those rubber things that doesn't leave marks. But there's always a jam. Even at 2am, there's a jam. It spontaneously happens, I think. And when Wife approaches a train intersection, the train shows up and the lights start blinking. The gate goes down, and stays there for 45 minutes, while the engineer reads a few chapters of War and Peace. There's a lot to be said about staying home.

Speaking of staying home, we hit construction here and there. There was frequently only one lane operating, so the Sign Guys were out. After waiting for 5 minutes, I realized we were in the middle of the Neighborhood Appreciation Project. This is where you stop, look around, and appreciate the neighborhood, as well as the level new street and the little particles of tar that are about to get into your tires. Just ahead is the Truck of Little Particles, where 23 guys (union) are standing around, 'helping' get the particles off the truck. Don't forget the Elephant Protection Specialist, who walks the length of the project, looking for elephants. The guy we saw had his 25 year pin: in 25 years on the job, not one elephant got in the midst of a construction project. The rest of the crew looks up to him, but this job is very hard to get.

I was hungry. Yes, who would have thought this would happen on a long trip with no breakfast? Apparently not my wife, who had her thing to do and did it, dammit. I hinted that I was hungry. I told her I was hungry. Finally I had to raise my voice. Everybody else was hungry too. Wife had other things to do, but I did not dare ask what they were. I know it involved copious amounts of going through the house and out to the patio, for a cigarette. That's not at all different from home, except there is a lot less dust. After I finally got my point across, the debate started on where to get food. We were in a remote location, where they were thankful for getting electricity. Ok, I'm kidding - they were thankful for cable tv and internet. Once we decided, we had to find a menu and make individual decisions. I was first, which meant the process hadn't completed for 30 minutes. Have I mentioned I was hungry? Then the screaming started: Penny fell off the porch. No one knows why, but we rescued her. It's a good thing we did, because the place is a wildlife zoo. Chipmunks, squirrels, birds of varying colors, and of course, bears. Yes, bears. Like the one that got into my car last time and ate some cookies. Turned out he was a better driver than most of the people in the area. Most people get flies, bees,  or mosquitoes. We got bears. I suggested something helpful, like keeping the windows closed. Nobody seems to be upset about this but us. It's friggin' wildlife. We're not used to wildlife coming that close to us. One of them came up to the porch, putting him about 5' from me. This is not a recommended distance for a boy who grew up in the city, seeing bears exclusively in zoos. Since they feed the bears there, this was not an issue for them. Nobody bothers each other, except for my car. Worse than that, if you can imagine, is that they named some of the birds and chipmunks. "Oh look, there's Ralph." I'm looking for the neighbor and it's a damn squirrel. Let them laugh at me, but I'll be in the house, while everybody else is bear food.

This is why I don't get out much.
Well, this and my personality.

Best Sentence of the Week

I have to give half the cake to the sewer guy.

I was just pleasantly surprised to learn we live in one of the top 100 cities to live in in the country. Great schools, low taxes, nice people. I feel kinda proud. I'd feel more proud if I didn't live right across the divide from the top 100 city. Oh well.. I hear crime is on the rise there anyway....

Bad Faceyspaces News (like there is any other kind)

  1. Zuckerberg: Yes, Facebook kept Hunter Biden's laptop under wraps - Of course they did. FB, Instagram, Twitter, and Reddit may be separate companies, but they all censor the same things. They control the narrative. This is why we need a free speech social media platform.
  2. Meta offers $37.5m to settle location tracking lawsuit. Users may get around $0.53 each, Facebook would lose about eight hours of annual profit. Faceyspaces illegally harvested location data even when users explicitly denied consent. Told you so. Lord Zuck is evil and if you think the platform is for your benefit, I have a planet to sell you.
  3. Speaking of narrative: Facebook Restricted a Planned Parenthood Post Telling People About Abortion Pills
  4. Misconfigured Meta Pixel exposed healthcare data of 1.3M patients. This is for AD TRACKING. Think about this.

No.
You can be filmed, with the excuse that you're in public and have no expectation of privacy. Same for police.
However, it's probably a good idea to stay out of the action.

Police: Ma'am, what are you doing?
Citizen: I'm filming this. I don't trust the police.
Police: You're two feet from my face.
Citizen: I need all the data to upload to all the social media sites.
Police: Can you move back two feet?
Citizen: DON'T CENSOR ME!

So it's the penalty phase of the Parkland shooter trial.
The trial is getting kind of iffy and the lawyers are getting kind of persnickety...

Lawyer: How do you know the defendant?
Lady: He's my friend.
Lawyer: He's your friend?
Lady: He's my friend. Are we supposed to repeat things?
Lawyer: Were you a good friend?
Lady: I'd say we were just friends.
Lawyer: On a scale of 1 to 10....
Lady: about 5...
Lawyer: I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT. TELL ME EXACTLY.
Lady: Ok, exactly 5.5.
Lawyer: Use whole numbers, please.
Other Lawyer: OBJECTION! Prosecutor being an asshole.
Judge Hottie: Sustained.
Lawyer: So you knew the defendant, right?
Lady: Yes, I knew the defendant.
Lawyer: And were you closer to acquaintances than good friends?
Lady: He thought we...
Lawyer: DON'T TELL ME WHAT HE THOUGHT.
Lady: We were somewhat friendly.
Lawyer: You didn't always live in the same state as the defendant.
Lady: Correct.
Lawyer: What other state did you live in?
Lady: New Jersey.
Lawyer: Ah, New Jersey. I see. How frequently did you travel to his state?
Lady: Every now and then.
Lawyer: What the hell does every now and then mean?
Lady: You know...
Lawyer: No, I don't know.
Lady: Every few months.
Other lawyer: OBJECTION! Prosecutor being a little less of an asshole.
Judge Hottie: Sustained.
Lawyer: Mrs. Smith, why are you wearing a mask?
Lady: Flying AIDS.
Lawyer: If you're wearing a mask to prevent the Flying AIDS, why is your nose sticking out?
Lady: It is not.
Lawyer: SIDEBAR, your honor, to decide whether Lady's nose is covered by mask.
At Sidebar: I'd like a beer, please, and a Gin and Tonic for Her Honor.
Lawyer: Ok, ma'am, we've established that your nose is not covered by your mask.
Lady: YES IT IS.
Lawyer: Your Honor, permission to treat her as a hostile witness.
Judge Hottie: Why?
Lawyer: I've always wanted to say that.
Judge Hottie: Granted.
Lawyer: Did you see the defendant in 2015?
Lady: I don't remember.
Lawyer: You said you used to visit him.
Lady: Yes I did. I just can't remember when.
Lawyer: You never really saw him, did you?
Lady: You're not even human, are you? Yes, I did see him.
Lawyer: GUILTY, Your Honor.
Judge Hottie: Counselor, this is a witness, not the defendant.
Lawyer: Sorry, Your Honor, I got a little carried away.
Lady: You should be carried away.
Lawyer: Didn't your mother ever teach you to speak only when you're spoken to?
Lady: No.
Lawyer: What did you wear when you hung out with the defendant?
Lady: Uh... what do you mean?
Lawyer: Were you naked?
Lady: No, of course I wore clothes. Your Honor, is she always an asshole or just with me?
Lawyer: What kind of clothes?
Lady: A dress, like I'm wearing now.
Lawyer: Did you wear that dress?
Lady: No.
Lawyer: When did you purchase that dress?
Lady: I dunno... a year ago?
Lawyer: Was it a year ago, or, in fact, a year and a half ago?
Lady: (crying) It could have been a year and a half... I forget.
Lawyer: So you have no idea when you bought the dress.
Lady: You're twisting my words.
Lawyer: Where did you meet the defendant when you met him?
Lady: In his house.
Lawyer: Just in his house?
Lady: No, sometimes on his steps.
Lawyer: Mrs. Smith, it's obvious you never met the defendant.
Lady: What are you going on about?
Lawyer: You can't even tell me where you met him.
Lady: Your Honor, has anybody ever assaulted her in court?
Judge Hottie: Only a few times, but I'd advise against it.
Lawyer: How many trashcans did he have out front?
OBJECTION! How does the number of trashcans impact this trial?
Lawyer: Life and death trial, Your Honor. I'm throwing out whatever I can.
Lawyer: When were you aware of the shooting?
Lady: On tv that day.
Lawyer: Were you not at the high school?
Lady: No, I was in the courtroom next door on a prostitution trial.
Lawyer: So, you're a prostitute?
Lady: No, an expert witness.
Lawyer: Are you sure you're not a prostitute?
Lady: Positive. Unless I have one of those disorders where you wander around and have sex in your sleep.
Lawyer: So you could be a prostitute.
Lady: No, I am not a prostitute.
Lawyer: Ma'am, you just said you could have sexsomnia.
Lady: I don't.
Lawyer: Have you been tested?
Lady: No, I haven't.
Lawyer: So you could have it.
Lady: Your Honor, do you have any .357 rounds?
Judge Hottie: Give her a break... she's on her fifth marriage and it's already on the rocks.
Lawyer: Did he ever talk about shooting up a school?
Lady: No.
Lawyer: What about other places, like a mall, a vegan gathering, or a sex dungeon?
Lady: No.
Lawyer: Did he have guns?
Lady: No.
Lawyer: Clearly he had guns. Didn't you watch the news?
Lady: He didn't point any at me or show them to me, or try to have sex with them.
Lawyer: Did you know his mother?
Lady: Yes.
Lawyer: Why did she look like a man?
Probably the drugs.
Lawyer: Are you a doctor?
Lady: No.
Lawyer: How are you qualified to say it was because of the drugs?
Lady: Just a guess, Sally.
YOUR HONOR - make her stop calling me Sally!
Lawyer: What kind of drugs did his mom do while pregnant with him?
Lady: Pretty much whatever she could get her hands on. Plus anything she could drink.
Lawyer: Did you ever say anything to her?
Lady: I didn't think it was any of my business.
Lawyer: So you, in effect, are guilty of allowing this to happen.
Lady: Do you get crabby when your period hits? Does it last 27 days a month?

Next witness: the defendant's psychiatrist

Lawyer: Did you see the defendant in your capacity as a psychiatrist?
Shrink: Uhhhh....... yes.
Lawyer: How long did you see him.
Shrink: Twice.
Lawyer: That doesn't sound very long.
Shrink: I didn't require very long.
Lawyer: What, in your professional opinion, was he about?
Shrink: Ohhhh.... he was clearly Koo-koo for Cocoa Puffs.
Lawyer: Can you explain that for the man on the street?
Shrink: .... uh....  out of his..... friggin mind.
Lawyer: Can you narrow it down any?
Shrink: Ummm.... he was .... fscking crazy.
Lawyer: What made you think this?
Shrink: $500,000 in schooling.
Lawyer: What else?
Shrink: He tried to put his penis into everything. I was concerned that he didn't notice some of the holes were too small to succeed. He really liked setting the other children on fire, but it was only for attention. His mother would sodomize him. Later on, she'd include the family pets. He was a very smart child. Smart, but incredibly violent.
Lawyer: Anything else?
Shrink: His mother would chain him to her bed.
Lawyer: That's terrible.
Shrink: It was bad. It was terrible when she shared her drugs with him.
Lawyer: Was he damaged?
Shrink: Yes. He damaged my office because he was still chained to the mattress when he came in.
Lawyer: What did you think?
Shrink: Oh, there was no doubt.... he'd be shooting up some large building within a year or so.
Lawyer: Shouldn't you report this to the relevant authorities?
Shrink: I don't get paid that much.
Lawyer: Was he schizophrenic?
Shrink: What's schizophrenic?
Lawyer: Your witness....

In my years, I've discovered that most mental health professionals are crazy. However, the absolute batshit craziest are the psychiatrists.

We have another new neighbor, bringing the total to two.
Which is good, considering there are only two sides to the houses.
Everybody has a dog now, which is unfortunate, as ours wants to eat anything else on four legs. She doesn't care how big they are - she just goes into Cujo Mode<tm>.
The new guy was carrying some interesting stuff into the place: bondage furniture, high end exterminating equipment, a donkey, several people of short stature, and a few cases of YooHoo. I'm pretty excited: I love YooHoo, and he's single, so there should be a parade of women through the house, on which to use the bondage furniture. I'm going to ask about a live video feed. I feel we'll be good neighbors.

What kind of president just pops out and cancels business' collectibles?

Oh yeah, this one.

Republicans and some moderate Democrats have said debt cancellation will add to inflation by giving Americans more money to spend.

That's why we have taxes! We can't allow Americans to keep their own money!

GOP Promises to Hold Fauci ‘Accountable’ as He Prepares to Leave Post

why start now?

the man makes more than the president, as the highest paid in government. It's not difficult to predict a higher-paying job in the private sector. I'm sure Big Pharma has a spot waiting for him...

Let's get right to it. I want to bring you all updates on some of the more difficult personal projects, most just me trying to live without being disturbed too much.

Teams: The day was upon us, with Boss' draconian ruling that everyone take the duct tape off their cameras for meetings.  All in all, I was perfectly fine, not knowing what my coworkers looked like. We build up these images and go with them, unless we're forced to be in the same room. And it was every bit as terrifying as we feared. It was a given that I'd be the ugly one, and it turned out that I had very little competition. Nobody wanted to do this and they were quite right in that. Unfortunately, many years on the job taught me you generally want to obey the boss if you like the job. So in the end, the only happy one was the boss.  Since he already knew me, there were no unfortunate surprises.

While trying to set the program up for video, I discovered those terrible backgrounds. Every one of them made me even uglier. Then I discovered you can make your own. I have one with a Microsoft logo with a red circle and slash through it. I alternate with the MS Blue Screen of Death. I also discovered that when you ignore your parents and slouch in your seat, only your hat or small bits of the top of your head make it onto video. In a week or so, I'll have it adjusted so there's only my hat, like Tim Allen's neighbor.

So... what other backgrounds do I need? Hmmmm....

  • my dog, so it looks like she's laying on my head
  • a slaughterhouse
  • a poignant scene from WWII
  • schoolbuses going off cliffs
  • Waterboarding Gone Wild!
As if that weren't enough, I discovered the backgrounds show up backwards. I put up a picture of some guitars and they all looked right handed. Imagine my embarrassment. If you look closely, you'll notice any text is backwards.

After the battle was over, we were counting the wounded. Not a calm nerve in the room. Not a single agreement with Boss. I emailed Boss to take a few days off and told him it was nerves from being on video. He said he was sorry and suggested that as we keep having video meetings, we'd all get used to it. Yeah, that's what they told the assault victims: It only really hurts the first time - you'll get used to it.

I never minded meetings until this.

T-Shirts: Where were we? Oh yeah, after 4 new sets of wifebeaters, I discovered they are all 'ribbed.' I prefer my condoms ribbed, NOT my t-shirts. So I bit the bullet and donated to Jeff Bezos, over at the place that rhymes with Spamazon. Right off the bat, I had to figure out what to put in the search. Even after I figured it out, I knew I'd find some surprises. In the results there were actual wifebeaters, also a nose hair styler, rodent control, adult underwear, and a replacement exhaust system for a Tesla. Most were ribbed (including the Tesla).

Next search: men's sleeveless shirt cotton
Which naturally turned up 50% not cotton shirts.
Some were blends
Some were Speedos.
I had no choice but to call in an expert. WIFE - COME HERE, PLEASE.
It's pretty sad when a guy has to call in his wife to help find a t-shirt. To be fair, it was difficult for her too. She went to college and is smarter than me.

When I got everything in my cart, it asked me to log in. I did.
Then it told me there were no items in my cart. sigh
So I had to remember everything I ordered and where I found it.
And when I went back to my cart, there were two of everything.

To summarize, my trash bags will arrive next day. My shirts will arrive just after it gets cold. The adult underwear will be thrown in 'by accident.'

TV Shows Never Released

Seriously, Dude, I'm Gay
The story of an average dude, trying to come out of the closet, but nobody believes him.

According to this article, NASA will now go full force investigating UFOs.
According to a random count, NASA will be the third agency to do so. Your government at work. This will come as a complete shock to NASA, whose only job as far as UFOs, was to deny they exist, deny that object near the Space Station was anything significant, and to cut off transmissions from Moon missions when they mentioned anything about UFOs. This should be fun.

Next week, the list of government agencies investigating UFOs will include the FDA (without Lord Fauci), the Highway Transportation Safety Agency, and the IRS - because the aliens obviously aren't paying taxes.

Once again, there's an agency, or an amalgam of agencies, that has been studying UFOs since before Roswell in 1947. They know what's going on, but have taken pains to ensure that the world doesn't. They have taken great pains, via obfuscation, disinformation, misinformation, threats, and whatever else. It's quite obvious they're invested in the people maintaining their ignorance.

Why?
Nobody knows.
There are many guesses
  1. Free Energy: they have it and our oil companies won't stand for not making a profit
  2. They can blow us to smithereens and there's nothing the governments can do about it
  3. They're a diversion, created to put us off the trail of something else
  4. We did a deal, where they gave us technology in trade for a blind eye to abducting humans
  5. They don't want to be known
  6. They have better beer and the brewer lobby has bribed congress
I don't know about you but I'm a big boy and don't need to be 'protected' from the truth. Let's add that the government has no right to hide this.

My theory is that this is America-centric because whenever there's an incident in another country, American personnel are there quickly. The lion's share of sitings are in the US, but not exclusively.

So right now, we have UFO Theater.
It sits nicely next to Security Theater, via the TSA.

If you're at all interested in the topic, read or YouTube anything by Richard Dolan. He is a meticulous researcher and historian. Do not take my word; do your own investigation and come to your own conclusions.

The other day the dog was outside, looking up. Instead of barking like a loon, she was watching roofers next door. What could possibly be interesting about roofers to a dog? I suggested she check her own roof, but she just stared at me and wagged her tail. This happens a lot, as if to say, "I'm just a dog, Dad, I don't understand what you're saying." She's currently barking at thunder.

Finland is bored. Tragically bored. Without scandal or issues or problems. The big news is that the (female) Prime Minister was caught on video, dancing with men and partying down.

Seriously?

Since we refuse to see anything of import, let's imagine... Joe Biden, dancing with (clothed) women, partying drunk. Better yet, let's not imagine it. But if you think about it, he can do significantly less damage while partying....

The PM also took a drug test. We think Biden would pee clear too. As for the day of the week, we're not so sure.

My mother, now in assisted living for dementia (see Dementia page up top) got the last laugh on us. She gave us some dishes. What we didn't know was they are coated with something that makes them extremely slippery. I just took two hot slices of pizza out of the oven and turned around, causing both slices to slide off the plate and fly to the floor. Even if the food manages not to fly off, the silverware will. It's the perfect ending to a great day at work. WATCH OUT - FLYING FOOD!  Good one, Mom.

Elon Musk, a favorite of this blog, announced the Full-Self Driving software is going up to $15,000 (347 lbs British). Think about this.... updates and features are implemented via software. I wonder if there's any Tesla software to make it explode predictably, instead of randomly. Or hit certain people, as opposed to just children. And hit only certain emergency vehicles, like police instead of fire. I couldn't bring myself to buy one. Or afford one.

Elon said, "Now you can pay three thousand more for something that doesn't work."

Woman cut off boyfriend's penis after he tried to rape 14-year-old daughter, reports say. The Lorena Bobbitt of India caught her boyfriend in the act and went into action. The animal was booked for rape. It is not known if the woman will face charges. Go Lady!

Berkeley co-op bans WHITE PEOPLE from common areas to 'avoid white violence and presence' and all students trying to sign in are asked to declare their race

Remember when there were signs on businesses that said NO COLORED? It was intolerable racism then, and it's intolerable racism now.

Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

So far, one student has been hospitalized for stress, because he's mixed race and couldn't figure out where he's not allowed to go.

Yale professor ripped for helping toddlers with ‘gender journey’

Do college professors come from different planets?
How does a toddler tell a professor he or she is transgendered?
This is child abuse. And it's stupid.

The YouTube video was removed from Yale's page.

Dear parents of students: we can no longer be responsible for the random bulldookey that comes out of the mouths of our professors. It has gotten so far out lately that we simply cannot afford the resources to keep track of them (at only $50k per student per year). In the future, if you hear or see something this ridiculous, just shake your head and say, "Oh, those wacky professors!"

Meanwhile, in other departments at Yale...

  • history is taught but there are no white people in it
  • science teaches that there are only minority astronauts on the Space Station
  • Congress and the president are all black
  • Trans babies can be diagnosed in the womb
  • 'best man' at weddings should be changed to 'sperm-manufacturing human' or 'best woman.' Or 'best person of color.'

Biden’s new Title IX rules deputize teachers to override parents on gender identity

The state owns your children. Is that ok with you?

OCD ASSHOLE

So Wife has OCD, as I've mentioned. I'm a genuine asshole because sometimes I poke her OCD. Just the other day I noticed that the Keurig pod had to be aligned with the writing top-up before the coffee could be made. It's not often she's near me when I make coffee, but you can bet the writing on the pod will be upside down next time.

We have a vertical paper towel holder, repurposed as a toilet paper holder. It fits two rolls and I always pull from the bottom roll first. Sandwiches on long rolls have to be sat 'the right way. Since I don't know what the right way is, I have a 50% chance of screwing it up. And if I don't put it in the right direction, it can't be eaten. Living with me is no vacation either, but I'm a passive nuisance, as opposed to an active nuisance.

The truth is that I am the first to be diagnosed with ROCD - Reverse OCD. When I see something obviously OCD, I have to mess it up. The smartasses among you will say it's just a different version of regular old OCD. My compulsion is to destroy, like some Japanese monster that steps on a city.

'A San Francisco restaurant is run entirely by robots

The restaurant opened a year late because they had to teach the robots to screw up your order, ignore your table, and put things on your check you didn't order. For an extra 10%, the robots will be rude to you. For an extra 50%, the robots will misgender you.

CONCERTS

Jeff Beck is touring! You should see one of the greatest guitarists ever. He is not playing anywhere near me. We need to have a chat. At very least, look him up on YouTube. It looks like Johnny Depp may be involved. Much as I like Depp, he doesn't appeal to me musically.

Mickey Dolenz (The Monkees) will be appearing at the Retrocon, at the Philly Expo Center, September 27th and 28th. You can get your picture taken with Mickey and the Monkeemobile. It would be really great to ride around in that car. The gas mileage must rival F-35s. Plus you can't see over the blower (or whatever that thing is, sticking out of the hood). There are other dates.

Woman Sues Landlord, Claims Lease Included ‘Sexual Intercourse' Contract

but she signed the lease.....

Ode to a t-shirt that everyone stopped carrying at the same time

It all started last year. I bought a tank top (t-shirt with no sleeves, wifebeater). It was very helpful in very warm weather. I bought more, naturally in black and blue (my school colors - it was a tough school.).  Since my house tends to eat things, I cannot find a single one of them, and it's been in the 90s for weeks.

Old lefty would demand to take the house apart, in search of the errant shirts. New lefty just shakes his head, sadly, and orders more. They came pretty quickly, all rolled up in a multi-pack. Annnnnnnnd.... they were wrong. I'm a guy so I have trouble speaking about clothing accurately. When I told Wife, I said they were way too tight and springy, plus too small and they looked like corduroy. They had bloody lines going up and down. Mrs. lefty said that's how they are. "That's how they are" is a very bad phrase for me. It gets in the way of what I want and I'm even less pleasant to be around. I informed Mrs. lefty this was not a good answer and she told me what I wanted was cotton shirts. Stupid me - all my shirts are cotton - I foolishly assumed more shirts would be cotton too. Every one I ordered last year was cotton.

We checked a number of big box stores locally, with the same results. WTF - it's just a tank top. Yes, another story about lefty trying to get something pretty simple and finding it impossible. It's my life. It's also why this blog exists. Its all part of my descent into madness, and you have a front row seat. Imagine that.

Mrs. lefty decided to go to the Mart with Walls. I was stunned when she brought out two sets of them! I was lucky! Fate smiled upon me! Oh, wait... one of the packages was exactly like the one I got that was wrong. The other package was a different manufacturer's version of the Wrong Shirt. Logic and air are not the same in my universe. Gravity either, which aids the emotional support elephant (Iqbal).

I had to very carefully phrase my next utterance, lest I wear all ten shirts in a very dark and foul smelling. But.... they all have ribs. That's exactly what I was complaining about. Well, that and they ripped. So both sets have ribs. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough when I walked around the house with the shirt over my head and fell down a flight of steps, screaming about corduroy tank tops. It scared the hell out of the dog. I think, for her own sanity, Wife just ignores me. This seems to happen a lot, especially with people who are not my wife.

Now that I think about it, I have a lot of regular old t-shirts, complete with Funny Shit on them. And when I say a lot, I mean an incredible amount. Almost as many as Wife has shoes (as if that were possible). Anyway, we're getting suited up for a Shirt Safari, as there are none in my dresser. We're not sure where they go. I checked my office, the tall trees in the yard, the car tires, heating ducts, and even the Crisis Room<tm>. Nada. Nope. None. Zip. Zilch. Yet every now and then, they come back in the wash. I look at them and think, "Oh yeah, I remember those." I think the house hides them for a few months at a time, then blips them back to be washed. I probably don't want to know where they went. Maybe they were abducted by aliens. Maybe they were abducted by televangelists. Or congressional committees on laundry. Perhaps they went on vacation, which is kinda sad, because *I* can't afford one.

As I now understand it, with ten shirts in a dark and foul smelling place, the shirts have to be ordered online and have to say 100% cotton. If any local stores want to know why people are taking their business online, they should read this blog. They should read this blog even if they aren't curious. Now I have to give more money to Jeff Bezos. He needs to get more trillions together so he can afford to get divorced again.

We're having stuffed shells for dinner. They're stuffed with cheese. I don't like cheese. The shells have ribs on them. I think someone's mad at me.

Three stores do not have Penny's dog food. It gets more difficult almost daily. Know what happens when you change a dog's diet? Their system goes into BLM Riot Mode, producing all sorts of foul gas and possible diarrhea. Dogs don't even laugh when they fart.

Pope rules out sexual misconduct probe of Canadian cardinal

Of course - gotta protect them pedophiles.

This could be the largest criminal organization on the planet.

Have you ever seen what childhood sexual abuse does to children?

There is a real issue with laptop hard drives failing when Janet Jackson music is played. You should be safe, because the laptop had to be made around 2005 and have a certain hard drive in it. And you wouldn't be caught dead playing Janet Jackson.

One of my grade school teachers said he graded tests by throwing them down the steps, with each step being a letter grade. Most of us are long out of school, but this method continues, especially at the CDC, which has just released its arbitrary rules for going back-to-school.

  • On Mondays, no masks are required, because the school has been quarantining itself over the weekend.
  • Tuesdays require masks because of Mondays
  • On Wednesdays, the cafeteria has mac and cheese
  • On Thursdays, everyone must show their vaccination paperz, causing absolutely no school work to get done, sometimes ending in an unexcused absence
  • Friday is Fauci Appreciation Day, with assemblies featuring songs, worship, and clowns (not the FDA kind)

Here are two articles on the CDC

  1. CDC to regain control of US hospital data after Trump-era seizure, chaos
  2. CDC to restructure after COVID failure, “confusing and overwhelming” guidance
  3. CDC Clueless

A Tool That Monitors How Long Kids Are in the Bathroom Is Now in 1,000 American Schools

Every now and then, a draconian tool appears in schools. This is obviously one. It follows the phone trackers. Wait for the chips - they'll be swell.

Australian wasps threaten another passenger plane, with help from COVID-19

G'day mate. It would be a real shame if we built a nest in your pitot tubes. Planes, they fall out of the air sometimes. What say you pay us a small fee for protection?

Japan wants young people to drink more alcohol. It's just not sure how to convince them

There are many differences between the Japanese and Americans. This is one. We actively encourage drinking. It's a real social problem.

The reason for the action is that governmental tax revenue on alcohol is down. They should give them car keys too. Then the tax revenue on towing and morgues would be up also.

There is a video making the rounds featuring pole dancing at a gender reveal party. People are out of their minds.

I am too. People shouldn't be exposed to gender reveal parties

It's safe to sleep and go on vacation now, kids. The mystery of half-billion year old creature with no anus is solved!

SPOILER: it's actually in the ecdysozoan group, not deuterostomes.
